The NEX5204100 is a USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) controller with support to multiple DP/DM based fast charging protocols. It is designed for the power source application supporting Type-C CC detection, PD communication with cables and PD devices, as well as DP/DM power contract negotiation with flash charging supported mobile devices.
It is designed with Constant-Voltage (CV), Constant-Current (CC) control loop to support applications with OPTO and to work with different DC/DC or AC/DC converters.
