Webinar Series: Lost in translation - Selecting the right translator

About the webinar series

This webinar series covers the multitude of solutions available in voltage translation, also known as level shifting. Session 1 addresses the technical requirements for translation and look at the wide variety of options for translation. While session 2 looks at very specific applications and identifies the best translator solution.

Presenters

Christian Backhaus
Christian is Application Marketing Manager at Nexperia with a focus on applications for analog and Logic IC products. He received his diploma in electronic engineering from RWTH Aachen in 1994 and has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. In former positions as a development engineer for Mitsubishi, Philips, and NXP Semiconductors, Christian has designed IC systems for Microcontrollers, video systems, and smart card controllers.

Tom Wolf
Tom is a Technical Applications Manager for Nexperia. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computing Engineering specializing in microelectronics and robotics. Tom has designed automation systems for IBM and GE and provided application design engineering for semiconductor manufacturers Intel, AMD, NEC, and Philips/NXP. In his spare time he consults on video production and technical theater (lighting/sound/special effects).
