Nijmegen -- Nexperia, a semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in Nijmegen, is the main partner of football club N.E.C. from Nijmegen. Today, Nexperia will be in the spotlight during the N.E.C. match in the Goffert stadium.

This spotlight is a great opportunity to give more insight into Nexperia and the impact its products have on the technology around us—whether it is in the cars we drive, the phones and tablets we use, or even in sports through LED boarding and TV screens. Nexperia chips enable virtually every electronic device and are proud to be part of the technology that supports N.E.C.

To celebrate technological innovation, Nexperia chose to highlight the importance of technology in a unique way, letting a robot dog and humanoid robot deliver the ball to the start of the match. These robots symbolize the incredible advancements made possible by semiconductors, the foundation of all modern technology. Without semiconductors, innovation simply would not thrive or be possible.
During the N.E.C. – AZ match and around the Goffert stadium, visitors can also discover fun facts about chips and semiconductors, emphasizing their important role in powering our world. Nexperia, a global semiconductor business with a proud heritage coming from NXP and Philips, continues to drive innovation while honoring its roots in Nijmegen and the Netherlands.

Additionally, Nexperia is also the main partner of the Vierdaagsefeesten, the largest event in the Netherlands, which attracts thousands of visitors annually. These festivities, closely linked to the legendary Vierdaagse walking event, are proudly supported by Nexperia, contributing to an unforgettable experience for everyone visiting Nijmegen.

Nexperia cherishes its Dutch heritage and proudly shows its commitment to Nijmegen, the region, and the Netherlands—on and off the field!
